I am an illustrator of vivid watercolors portraying lush botanicals, juicy fruits, and wild creatures.
Watercolor is a vibrant, challenging and complex medium; I find it to be the perfect vehicle to convey my botanical and nature-inspired illustrations. My artistic inspiration comes from the colors and textures of flora and fauna, the specific intricacies of science, and the vast beauty of all nature.
I hold a Graduate Certificate in Science Illustration from California State University at Monterey Bay, a Master of Arts in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Colorado at Denver.
